In the recesses of my mind I hear it as a warning to never stop creating. Sometimes whispered, other times booming. My inner voice reminds me, “you’re gonna die.”
Vol. 1: Isolation — Frida Kahlo was inspired by it. As was Georgia O’Keefe, who described her self-imposed quarantine at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico as offering “a kind of freedom.”
